Understand AI and computers, without the jargon

Alongside our work with businesses, we train individuals. Short sessions, in small groups or one to one, built for people who have never been taught and simply want to use today's tools without being afraid of them.

These courses are for you if

You hear about artificial intelligence everywhere and want to understand what it actually changes.
You use a computer every day and have never had a single lesson.
Your admin has moved online and you feel left behind by it.
You want to learn how an AI assistant can help with your letters, your research or your documents.

The three formats

Each format stands on its own: take one, or follow them in sequence. No technical knowledge is required.

Getting to know artificial intelligence

€120 incl. VAT per person

Duration:: 3.5 hours, in one half-day
Format:: Small group, 6 people maximum

Payable on booking or on the day of the session.

Understand what an AI assistant can do, what it cannot do, and use it for real tasks by the end of the session.

What a conversational assistant really is — and what it is not
Writing a letter, a summary, an advertisement
Summarising a long document, preparing a piece of research

Essential computer skills

€160 incl. VAT

Duration:: Two 2-hour sessions
Format:: One to one, or in a pair

For both sessions. Payable after the first one.

Take back control of your computer: files, email, online admin and everyday security.

Organising your files and finding what you are looking for
Email: filing, attaching a document, spotting an attempted scam
Online admin: tax, health, pensions
Passwords, backups and updates
Setting up your device so it stays comfortable to use

One-to-one coaching

€70 incl. VAT per hour

Duration:: 1 hour per session
Format:: One to one, at the pace you choose

Five-hour package at €320 incl. VAT. No minimum term.

Sessions built around your own questions, on your own equipment.

What we cover

A programme agreed with you, based on what you actually need
Working on your own computer, tablet or phone
A written summary after each session, so you can go back over it
Freedom to stop after any session

“Digital independence” programme

€1,500 incl. VAT

Duration:: 24 hours spread over 3 months
Format:: One to one, two sessions a week

That is €62.50 an hour, against €70 for single sessions. Payable in three instalments at no extra cost.

A sustained programme to move from hesitant use to real independence, built around what you actually do rather than set exercises.

What we cover

An opening review to define what you should be able to do by the end
A written programme, adjusted session by session as you progress
Short pieces of work between sessions, gone over together afterwards
Email support between appointments
Written material that is yours to keep at the end of the programme

Full programme: “Mastering AI and computing”

€5,000 incl. VAT

Duration:: 80 hours spread over 6 months
Format:: One to one, at a pace agreed with you

That is €62.50 an hour. Payable in three instalments at no extra cost, and you may stop at any time with unused hours refunded.

The most complete format: from first steps through to advanced use of artificial intelligence applied to your own projects.

Everything covered in the shorter formats, taken at your own pace
Advanced use of AI assistants: long documents, research, personal organisation
Creating and managing your documents, spreadsheets and archives
Security, backups and managing your online accounts
Two personal projects carried through from idea to result
A written review at the halfway point and at the end

Practical details

Where sessions take place

Remotely, by video call, with help getting connected if that part worries you. In-person sessions are possible depending on where you are: tell us in your message and we will give you a straight answer.

No prerequisites

Nothing to install, nothing to know beforehand. We work on the equipment you already own, using your own examples rather than abstract exercises.

A deliberately slow pace

Sessions are short and few on purpose. Nobody learns by listening for six hours. You leave with two or three useful skills that have genuinely stuck.

Written material

Every course comes with a summary document, written in plain language, which is yours to keep and read again at home.

Before you book

The prices on this page include VAT. They are firm and carry no additional charges.

These courses are for individuals, for personal use. They are not vocational training and are not eligible for any professional training funding scheme.

You have a fourteen-day right to cancel from the date you book. If you expressly ask for the course to start before that period ends, you remain liable for the sessions already delivered.

Longer programmes are payable in three instalments at no extra cost and may be stopped at any time: hours not yet used are refunded to you, with no penalty and no need to give a reason.
